Alumni Talk – “Antifragile” teams

We will talk about high-performing teams and their leadership. We will explore the notion of anti-fragile teams. George comes with the experience of working in teams with the 20-25 years generation, and Cosmin with the experience of the team from EA – The Entrepreneurship Academy and that of consultant for the management teams of his clients.

Hosts:

George Moroianu, 23 ani, 23, is a graduate of the Entrepreneurship Academy and founder of Flip.ro, the first marketplace dedicated to refurbished and used phones. Flip has raised investments worth EUR 370,000 so far and recently, in the 9 months since its launch we have set the milestone of EUR 1M in total sales.

He also had some experience in Venture Capital – he worked for 8 months as an analyst at Cachette Capital Management, where he did due diligence on EU investment funds.

Before these two, it had another startup failure, InstaHouse, which wanted to be an on-demand marketplace for home services.

Cosmin Alexandru, 51 ani, has almost 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur, CEO, consultant and developer of educational projects. He co-founded and led the largest market research company in Romania, then consulted in branding, strategy and organizational transformation. He currently runs leadership team development programs for the executive teams of some of his clients, Romanian or multinational companies through www.executiveteams.ro.

He teaches a leadership course within the Executive MBA program of the Maastricht School of Management in Romania and is a co-founder and dean and team coach at the first entrepreneurship faculty in South-Eastern Europe –www.entrepreneurship-academy.ro
